Just back from a terrific weekend of wargaming in Dumfries, my first visit to the town. Seven hours each way, both easy uneventful journeys (going at a civilised pace...) Played three excellent game (2 Breneath the Lily Banners, 1 of Donnybrook), thanks to the organisers for their hard work. It was great to see all the usual suspects and meet some new people too. Returned with a boot full of river terrain pieces, Donnybrook rules and an identity crisis having been told "You're nae English!" when trying to use it as an excuse to stop drinking before I went blind, on the Saturday night.
Now you have had a REAL lesson on how to drink Adam! More on the weekend shortly via the forum and the blog.. I agree, it was a very successful weekend and a great laugh!
