There were some differences. In the case of infantry regiments, the company colours of the Scanian War had flaming grenades in the corners, and the white colonel's colour did not have Sweden's coat of arms but instead the individual province's coat of arm.

I'm not normally a fan of Wargames Foundry, but you've done a splendid job on these.

Factory not Foundry. The Wargames Foundry figures for this period are by the Perrys are are very nice sculpts.

Sorry, there was a smelling mistoke, and the autocorrect took over :)

I should have learnt to check by now.

I've plenty of Foundry here of my own ;)

Michael,
Your dragoons and cavalry look very nice. You've done a great job mixing up the weapons and the such. May I suggest the next mounted dragoon unit you do, get the infantry drummer arm piece an add it to one of the mounted guys.

The great thing about the plastics is I can easily replace the armatures. I realized assembling a French Maison du Roi Greandiers a Cheval unit, I gave the unit a trumpet. I was then looking at the French Cavalry pdf from Hall, and realized they have a drummer and not a trumpeter. So I went through my Wargames Factory Infantry box, snatched a drummer armature and did a hot swap. They probably had a trumpeter, but know that the drum is placed, looks pretty nice mounted. I'll post a pic when I'm done painting it up.

What do you think?

Thanks

Good tip Greg, I will have to check if the Swedeish Dragoons used drum or trumpet, by the time.

Best regards Michael
