I'm finally making some progress on my 1/72nd scale Scanian War project, here's a link showing ten pictures:

http://postimg.org/gallery/c0mc5zx8/

picture #1 shows a 19 figure battalion mounted as rank firing
These are 1/72nd scale Zvezda plastic miniatures from their Russian Great Northern War set. The tricornes have been cut off and replace with the black felt hats; coated with Elmer's white glue and primed flat black.

picture #2 shows a 19 figure battalion mounted as rank firing prior to the tricornes being removed.

picture #3 shows two stands, stand on the left has 6 miniatures from Imex's Pilgrim set. I'm using these figures as Snapphanar. The stand on the right has 6 miniatures from Zvezda'a Great Northern War Russian and Swedish artillery sets, I've converted three of them to pikemen.

picture #4 and #8 shows 6 miniatures from Zvezda's Polish Winged Hussars set, these are not actually part of my Scanian War project but will be used for the "Deluge" project.

picture #5 and #6 shows 3 mounted and 4 foot Cossacks from Zvezda'a Cossack set, again these are not actually part of my Scanian War project but will be used for the "Deluge" and Great Northern War projects. These are all painted but still need the bases finished.

picture #7 shows 2 mounted figures, the one on the left is from Zvezda's Great Northern War Swedish Dragoon set, the one on the right is of a horse from the same set but with a 25mm MiniFig figure from their Malburian range.

picture #9 shows a 19 figure battalion mounted as rank firing, 4 of the figures have their tricornes removed and replaced with a karpus; coated with Elmer's white glue and primed black. The other 15 have their tricornes removed but still need the karpus added.

picture #10 shows a 19 figure battalion mounted as rank firing, 2 of the figures have their tricornes removed and replaced with the wide brimmed felt hat; coated with Elmer's white glue and primed black. The other 17 have their tricornes removed but still need the hats added.

I have 12 additional 19 man battalions mounted on their individual metal bases and movement stands waiting for the headgear conversion.

I'll be posting more as I progress on this project.

Sounds interesting. Unfortunately that link collapses down to http://postimage.org/ when I click on it. You may need to modify the link.

Hopefully this will work:

I changed the link to the above in my original post, it now seems to work.
Sorry about that.

My first primed Swedish battalion (with karpus) has gone under the brush, the first two pictures show the first six painted miniatures (first picture figures are mounted on individual skirmish bases; second picture figures are mounted on a six man rank firing stand). The six man movement base isn't finished yet though.

Here is a of picture (picture #3) of my painted 19 man Narke-Varmlands battalion, I've still got to finish the bases though. And a picture (picture #4) of the first painted figure of my Danish Fynske battalion. I've decided to alternate, first a Swedish battalion and then a Danish battalion. After I have 4 battalions of each I'll switch to the cavalry squadrons.

I need to find a better camera, these pictures don't do the paint job justice.
