For all of you interested in the background and naval aspects to the Great Northern War, I can heartily recommend the above book. this is in essence a book of essays concerning and around the exhibition 'Of Swords, Sails and Cannon, the sinking of the Princess Hedvig Sofia in 2015-16.

Chapters include topics such as, Baltic in Change around 1700, Shipping and Naval Warfare in the Baltic Region, Underwater Cultural heritage. this is a large hardback coming in at over 400 pages.

currently on amazon it is priced at £83.00 but i got mine from one of the listed re-sellers at under £20.00.
