I've put a few pics up on my blog of our 2nd Donnybrook game, here's the link if anyone's interested http://thegreatitalianwars.blogspot.co.uk/

Again the game went well, however I don't think we've quite sussed how to do multiple combats against one figure, any help would be appreciated.

cheers Pete

Great looking game!

Close Combat is the bugger of most wargame rules and multiple combats especially so. Here's what I do...

A single model may take part in as many combats per round as necessary. If models from Unit A charge a character the combat is carried out as normal. Assuming the character survives and there is room, if unit B charges the character, that character may fight again without penalty with one exception... parries (page 14) are cumulative for the turn, not individual combats. If the character makes two parry attempts in the first combat and survives to fight the second, any parry attempts start at -2 (being the third parry in the turn).

Hope that makes sense... if not, let me know!

Having seen these models in the flesh I can vouch for their excellence! Look great here!

Does this skirmish take place in the Irish Nine Years War?

Very nice figures by the way.

Yes... Pete has adapted Donnybrook for the Elizabethan period... and admirably so!
