Uniforms of the Napoleonic Wars - Elting and Knötel.

RRP £150.00

Just bought it for £35.00 :D

Two sumptious volumes each 8.5" x 11.5" x 1.75" in a cloth covered slip case. Over 200 full-page illustrations by Herbert Knötel and commentary by John Elting. Originally published 1993 and reprinted by Greenhill in 2007, it covers the French army from 1790 to 1815. Purchased through my book club. For once, I do believe that I've gotten a bargain.

Ray,

Actually, it is only on the French but includes some Royal, Revolutionary and even Orient regiments.

The Military Book Club?

I got that deal mesel' a while ago, happy days!

Its luverly and the only book the Mehm Sahib lets me keep in the living room permanently.

Well, the rest of the house has an Osprey 4 minimum per room rule, so I can live with that.............

This might sound like a silly question, but seeing as it is a large tome (understatement!) can one assume that it has the majority of the uniforms for the French and their allies?

If so it might be just the ticket.
