Yes indeed you have Dave! I HAD forgotten. I also have a few battalions I could deploy into the Peninsula so, looking MORE than LESS likely
I fancy some sun and of course the added bonus of PRIESTS.. and FGIHTING PRIESTS at that. We could even have some GORILLAS too

I don't see any reason to call the Spanish rude names

Some Spanish are on my list at some point, but very far down it
Probably along the lines of what Clarence did with the 1804-07 French conversions. Cutting some points from waistcoats is a level of conversion I can deal with
Bill.

And then to prove the madness doesn't stop, the start of Pakenham's 3rd division.
The 3 companies of the 5th Battalion 60th Royal American.
I picked these up at Salute this year for £40 already painted, but I've just rebased them.

Bill,
I just can't believe the speed with which you are getting these divisions done whilst at the same time maintaining such an incredibly high quality. That artillery is just impressive.

Thanks Jim,
A lot of it is just down to clearing out the backlog of figures waiting to be based

I have a plastic victrix artillery battery I need to rebase(picked up off ebay for £50 complete with limbers, reasonably painted too
![Wink ;)](./images/smilies/icon_wink.gif)
).
But thats my backlog cleared out, its all just what I paint from now on. It will slow down for sure

And to prove the point, here are some where the bastex isn't even dry
First part of D'Urbans cavalry brigade, the 1st Portuguese Cavalry. By all accounts the Portuguese cavalry was the worst of the 3 arms. Poorly equipped and horsed. Did well at Salamanca but then turned tail and ran before combat at Majalahondra(sp?) a few days later. I have chosen to use a lot of different horse colours for the unit a) to learn how to and b) to represent that they would take any old nag. When I do Von Altens light dragoons for Salamanca in about 2014
![Wink ;)](./images/smilies/icon_wink.gif)
they will use a lot more uniform colours of horse flesh.
This is very much a work in progress. Only half painted at the moment, the 'regiment' will be 12 strong once complete, as will the other half of the brigade, the 11th Cavalry.
Figures are Front Rank and flags by the Flagdude.
1st Squadron - (Still 2 figures to paint)
Start of 2nd Squadron - (still 4 figures to paint)
I'll be painting all the horseflesh for the the 11th this week hopefully and maybe a few riders for the 1st, but it'll be a couple of weeks before this lot is finished I think.
Cheers and thanks for looking.
Bill

These are looking mighty impressive Bill. Good work on the horses in particular.
Now that you've found something you actually enjoy painting I'll send you mine

Thanks Dave.
If I get a chance I'll get some pictures of the whole division over the weekend.
I like how for Napoleonics 350 figures or so is considered a decent starter force
Bill.
