It's bad enough having to put up with your cavalry without this lot joining the fray. And as to your last post; your dead horses are very lifelike. :roll:

First off Ray, my compliments to your painter, very inspiring indeed.

I don’t know of any paintings of Vandeleur so I have nothing to go back to here, but I did find this picture of a General of Light Dragoons (post 1812)

A small thing with the 16th if you fancy adding any more flavour to them, they only received their 1812 uniforms in February 1815. It was recorded that a number of officers at Waterloo wore their old jackets with the new shako.
