Big Battalions?

Post by Adam Hayes » Sun May 25, 2008 12:45 pm

The arrival of the excellent TAG and Eagle Miniatures Spanish figures have got me looking seriously at Napoleonics for the first time in a very long while. The question athat is uppermost in my mind however is what level to play games at. There is a lot of interest around at the moment for the latest fad of "Big Battalions" particularly associated with the so-called Old School movement amongst gamers. I can see the attraction from a visual perspective, forty of fifty 25mm figures looks great as a unit* but are there sets of rules that make such unit sizes a useful, fun and interesting approach to Napoleonics?

Your thoughts please gentlemen...

Adam
