The first elements of a planned 1813 Bavarian brigade have marched at That French Emperor's bidding to Schloss von Peter.

To read the announcement of their arrival plus a few other 'bits and pieces' you can go to the bloggish entry at http://web.mac.com/nataliendpeter/Site/ ... rians.html

To see the Napoleonic Bavarian page go to http://web.mac.com/nataliendpeter/Site/ ... rians.html

A wise man would of course visit both!!!

That Sapeur is outstanding. The Bavarian artillery men sans cannon on your blog look as if they are performing a dance routine.

Peter,

Stunning brushwork and nice basing, looks real great!
That reminds me of an old saying from my early Wargaming days:
"Its nice to be a Preiss, but its higher to be a Bayr"

Cheers

Clearly defective. Might have paint envy. You must send them to me immediately, lest they contaminate the rest of your collection.

AIGF!

Strange... thought I posted a reply yesterday morning!

Anyway... really like these! I painted the very same unit (1st Btln., Bay. IR4, "Sachsen-Hildburghausen") a couple of weeks ago. And I have to say... I should have gone for Front rank, too. These minis look so much better then their Foundry counterparts and you did them justice!

Cheers,

Burkhard
