We also need a detailed OB for the Irish brigade and James' army. Jean-Michel may be able to help there.
I guess this is the battle where Saarsfield was killed.
Jean-Michel also sent me the Steenkirque OB for the French.

Hi All

Interested in the French order of battle, as I am looking at adding a pike block to my WSS collection infantry so I can also fight LOA battles, so always interested in OOB's

What strength would a French infantry battalion be for this period, and what % would be pike?

What would the strength of a French cavalry regment be, and what would the average squadron strength be?

Also looking at the French Cavalry, and Brigade Reneville - is the the Maison Du Roi cavalry (i.e. a squadeon each of Gendarmes and Chevaux legers, 2 squadrons of Musketeers, the 4 companies (400 men companies) of Guard du Corps, plus the company of Grenadiers a Chevel)plus 5 squadrons of Carabiniers ? :?

Thanks
