Falkirk Trip In May

Post by Churchill » Sat Feb 23, 2008 9:12 pm

It will be the A1 Barry unless my Sat Nav has other idea's :?

If your using a 16' by 8' this will give me some idea of the table I intend to use for my Waterloo game in 2010.Simon and Sue of TSS are doing the table tiles for me.

Looking forward to buying the new rules, hope there on sale soon.

This is very exciting news and certainly much anticipated in our wargaming circles in Australia.

Any idea if the Salute deadline is still the release date?

cheers

Oh dear, more gaming expense to sneak past The Spouse!! :D

A quick query: can it be sent in a plain brown paper bag so that the neighbours will think it is literature of the, errr, adult variety (and hence perhaps look at me with some form of respect!)?

And don't forget that the Napoleonic rules are now up for serious work.

And Carlo - am I following you around the web or vice-versa. Whatever, you do seem to inhabit the nicest of places (grovel grovel ... Barry &/or Clarence, is this worth a discount? ).

Salute

Chaps,

the PRINT button has been pressed even as we speak! I just approved the project to be commenced and the lead times I have been given were relatively short. Availability for SALUTE yes I think so I am however deciding at the moment whether to distribute exclusively online through the new site(which is also imminent... I think it will be up within 10 days max) or whether to use 2-3 Traders max. Certainly I have had enquiries from several in terms of show distribution in the UK.

In terms of promotong the rules I would have thought you would want to give them some exposure at shows . As such dealing with a few traders who do quite a few shows could be advantageous.
Now stop resting on your laurels and get the Napleonic rules out too!!

Release Of Beneath the Lily Banners Rules

Post by Churchill » Wed Feb 27, 2008 9:16 pm

Well done Barry and Clarance on the new rules can't wait to own a copy.
Ditto with John's post of exposing the rules to the maximum by letting 2 or 3 traders distribute who attend most of the show's in the U.K. and who manufacture figure's of the same period.

Ray.
