Hello again, Theo & others!

I am happy to report that the Pike & Shot Society Sales problems seem to have been resolved & I have just received an order of books & Hall Plates from them. The Hall plates are GBP2 for P&SS members and GBP3 for non-members. They also carry the Robert Hall books at competitive prices esp. for members (so join up :D ) They have a very useful booklist for our period including Iain Stansford's book on Blenheim.

Cheers, Rohan

Ray,

These look very good. I have been looking at the photos to see if I can steal some of your painter's techniques.

After the cavalry, you've just the artillery left or that and the commanders?

Ray,

Do you intend to actually wargame with these figures? I imagine, as they are Front Rank, that, in total, are very weighty.

Why not wargaming with Front Rank minis ?

My Savoyan army is exclusively Front Rank, and I like the weight.

No feeble plastics toppling over at the slightest breeze of air.

I've nothing against gaming with metal (aside from that fact that I cannot afford it at this time). My purpose in asking is that Ray has a very large collection of figures that are superbly painted... I would certainly be disappointed if all they ever did was sit in a display cabinet and occasionally be brought out for photos.

The weight issues brings up transportability. It may be that Ray, should he game with them, only games them at his home. Thus, my question.
