Hi all,

Too a few snaps of that rather impressive Battle of the Boyne game over the weekend. Absolutely stunning game. I've seen it twice now and I'm still a little in awe of the attention to detail, planning, painting and the execution.

I heard one of the Red Cross chaps on his mobile enthusing about the wading figures in the control area.
Thing about running a show is you never get to see more than a glimse of the games or have time to talk to gamers. So thanks for posting the pics now I get to see them at leisure.

Hi Darrell,

Nice photo's again, Barry has done a excellent job with the terrain and figures.

Funny Captions for each photo....
Photo 1. The guy with only his head above water..."How come I'm the shortist in my battalion and I find the deepest part of the river"

Photo 2. One soldier says to another next to him "I know this water is cold, but why has the water turned a orange colour around you"

Photo 3. The Grenadier in the river shout's over to the Grenadier about to throw a grenade on the Island "Not fish for Tea again please"

Regards.......Ray.

No Jim, the Boyne has now been put to bed for 2008. I am part of a League of Gentlemen Wargamers game at Kelham on the Sunday. It is a section of the Ligny battle we did.

And very good it was too. I saw it at Falkirk I believe? Loads of Naps on one tabel. Scenery was again top notch 8) .

Cheers,

Darrell.
