What should we do next in terms of products?

Again I'd like to solicit your views on where we go next. The test production run of Counters for BLB has been very successful in that the Army counters have more or less sold out in the first fortnight of us posting availability. (We just have to ship 'em to you when we receive them.. they are late!!)
I will now re-order both Alliance & Bourbon counters and post a notice of new product on TMP (If someone would tell me how to do that!!)
At Claymore several people asked me about Swedish & Russian counters for the GNW. I can only really consider those if I thought I could at least cover my production and first order costs.. so I am interested in what the likely up take would be before digging my hand in my pocket!

If you want to vote or simply give a Post as feedback I am very interested in your views as always

Thanks in advance..

Excellent stuff Barry just what I've been waiting for and the next BIG step for yourself and Clarance and for BLB to florish even more......
I think you know what I want to see....BLB Companion Books for each theatre of war thoughout the 1660 to 1721 period.
Each Book containing Major Battles with there OOB's and Troop Classification for each Regiment.Smaller scenerio's for beginner's.
A beginner's guide into where they can get the figures needed to build a army, painting guide, flag making and designs.Uniform guide with Regimental facings..... wow this is going to be a massive undertaking for yourself Barry, but I think you get the jist a step by step guide into the period just as you have done for me and many others in this forum already and I take my hat off to you......
Remember though No Point system for troops, keep it historic and keep the would-be WAB players out!!! with their armies of grenadiers, no horse and 20 gun batteries.........pah

Regards.........Ray.

I agree with the "No points" view, but, as a WAB player myself I have never come across the "20 gun Battery Syndrom". Perhaps I have been lucky but in our club non-historical gaming is a no-no.
For huge gun batteries you ought to see what the FOW players get up to, a company sized table top force that's 90% self propelled artillery?, 8 gun batteries in support of a reduced size infantry platoon? These are the players that ought to be discouraged.

Dave.
P.S. All the FOW players I've met are thoroughly decent people, it's just that all sense of reality leaves them when they open that damn book
