Post by j1mwallace » Wed Aug 12, 2009 9:45 am

Any of you guys seen/ own the Pike and shot society books on the Army of Louis XIV. They seem to me to be pretty good but as you will note not exactly cheap. Any opinions.
cheers

I can confirm that the books (but also the books on the armies of the smaller German States) are very good and worth the expense. For the French army you may consider the CD's from Bacchus with quite some material on them, but I prefer the books.

best regards,

Hi

Are not the CD's from Baccus and the books from the Pike & Shot website the same material in different formats?
