Thank you sir, I am humbled by your comments. One thing I'm working on is a leadership base and naturally Barry had some influence with this. I really enjoy Barrys' dioramas with command figures. I've had some of the Front Rank cavalry kettledrummers painted up by two difference painting services - 1st one was via Ioannis and the 2nd was via Big Battalions (Gramham). There were two from each service and all 4 are lovely but you can see the differences between these painting houses. My idea is to have a commander, personal guard figure, standard bearer and, hopefully there's room left, a kettledrummer. We'll see how this all works out.
My idea is to have each commander with his own 'flag' (i.e. color) and then I'd have the smaller based subcommanders with the same colored flag but smaller. Right now I'm working on the French side so a flag with just rows of fleur de lis on them with each commander having a different color - blue, red, white, green, yellow, etc. Then I'll paint up 3 or 4 subcommanders using the same colored flag but just smaller. That's the idea anyway, we'll see how it works out.
