Highlander basing

Post by azeroth » Sat Sep 24, 2005 9:32 am

This might be a silly question but I can't find how to base highlanders in the ulb rules. Am I right in assuming they are based as regular infantry? I ask as I am rebasing my 15mm stuff to use the rules.

Ian,

I suggest you use regular bases(45mm frontage x 50mm depth) but base between three and five figures in an irregular group on each. Have a look at tribal infantry rules section.

I previously painted and gamed with a Jacobite Army which I sold a few years back to a collector friend in the US. It is features on the cover of WI..something or other..can't remember the issue number  but it is in the Flotsam & Jetsam section of the Gallery. If you have that issue of the mag then the inside photo feature shows my highlanders(at that time based on 60 x 60mm bases with 4-7 figures per base) you'll get the idea of the configuration from that I hope.
cheers
