Danish cavalry 1670,

I hate to start a topic about something I once knew, but here goes.

Swedish Cavalry in the Scanian war were chargers, Gaa Paa and all that.

Were the Danes different? I can't remember if the Danes were pistolers. I have this vague impression that they were different and so Gustave had an advantage over Chritian's cavalry.
