Rather nice book indeed.

Only 'drawback' is the rather old fashioned habit of putting all footnotes at the end of the book.

At the Crisis convention in Antwerp, I had the pleasure to meet the editors of Karwansaray, who are also avid wargamers. (They have three wargaming magazines in stock).

They just released a book on the Duke of Alva, another controversial military man, which is a rather tempting buy as well.

Is he a pothead or something Bryce :?

Incidentally, you lot out there in the galleries, yes.. Wallace and O'Brien, I am talking to you TWO!

My review of aforementioned tome on Johnny 'Justin Bieber' Marlboro Ciggies was the epitome of balance and even handedness (unlike his fanboys out there!). Even the mag commented with the word 'fair'... something I have N E V E R ever been accused of before.. I mean, the very thought brings me out in a rash

Barry, just goes to show why being a bit of a troll on this forum is quite so good for cheering me up when I am in a black mood.

I know how you feel I was called Reasonable once the shame, the dishonour.

Did you write the review in crayon? By the way there's a new book on 20th Maine just out. Did you do the foreword for that as well
