Wargames Illustrated 328 A Celtic tragedy

Post by barr7430 » Tue Jan 27, 2015 6:08 pm

In the column piece I do for WI I featured some aspects of the recent Derby version of AUGHRIM for those interested. Thanks for the comments received by mail so far... much appreciated!

A Tea tragedy,

having only picked up my copy of WI today, I settled in to what I hoped would be a good read and not that " I really should have looked through the magazine before parting with hard earned cash feeling". know for some unknown reason I always read magazines from back to front, so onto the Tea tragedy.

A article by B.H. great and picky's to boot, I read with increasing interest until I came to " It was 6:20 pm when the Jacobite commanding player attached the Marquis de St Rude to a frontline battalion" know at this point the outcome came hurtling into my head, and it happened.

As I read this, I suddenly (according to my partner) laughed out loud very loudly, right at the point when a cup of tea was being placed by my side.

Outcome: 1 cup of tea on the floor, 1 cup smashed, and me in the bad books. but the article was worth it.
