Anyone see that Dutch move from 2015 about Du Ruyter (Admiral:Command and Conquer). While I enjoyed it I can clearly see some inaccuracies (mostly due to the time frame of events(even more obvious to the fact that Du Ruyter's children do not seem to grow into adults over the span of a couple of decades)).
While this film did use a few ship replicas, only one is actually based on one from the 17th although the Russian Frigate Shtandart does look very appealing.
Just wondering about the aesthetics of the film really. I heard this film was in the works for at least six years so they must have tried to stick to some of the essential facts.
