BofB aircraft

Post by TigerLili » Tue Mar 21, 2006 5:02 pm

Peter,

I bought the aircraft in a military museum somewhere in Connecticut. I have the instruction sheet from one of the models in front of me. They are called In-Air, E-Z Build, registered trade marks of Plymouth Toy and Book, 103 Panton Road, Vergennes, VT 05491. They appear to made for PT&B in China by a company called New Ray (www.new-ray.com). Apart from the 2 planes you saw, they definitely also make a Sopwith Camel and a Fokker Triplane. Happy Hunting. :D

Perhaps everyone else should be hunting for anti-aircraft guns. :!:

All the best,

Colin

Peter is obviously planning on starting Max Sennett's(is that how you spell it  :?: ) Flying Circus for the next game. Transferring production from Schlock Horror Movies like:

Max Factor and the Temple of Doom  and
Tibetan Chain saw Massacre

to

Adventure comedy:

Those Magnificent (Ho Chi)Min's in their flying machines  and

The Blue 'MAX FACTOR'

Thanks Colin. I managed to buy one on Ebay yesterday for $8.99 plus shipping to my US office. Having broken many assembled plastic kits planes recently for my Aerodrome WWI game it will be great to have something more robust in a larger scale.

My Sopwith Camel will come into service next game.
