An excellent, well fought game with a good crowd.Well done us and Gerry as sporting player. Leave Your son and the 5 mile snipers at home next time please
Never listen to Barry Hilton when he tells you that its up to you but the cavalry don't need to pursue off the table.
I was going to end with a profanity but with my strict religious upbringing couldn't think of any

You should have seen the look on your face at a tough time in the battle when I told you the bridge had collapsed leaving your reinforcements stranded on the wrong side of the river
The way you acted to the info was very commendable and was one of the reasons you won the best sportsman award.
Cheers

Good looking photos Barry. When I get a chance I will try to write up a overall report of the action as I was taking notes all through the battle along with the special events.
Cheers

Yes, I saw you doing that! Wondered whether you were writing down incriminating quotes from some of the wargaming professor types who were spouting forth!
Doing a write up would be a good idea.. then the players can all argue about it!
I have still to sift through my own pix.. post 'em up later

I did make some notes on the discussion about pike rot in 18th century europe and profanism - wankers in 21st century electronic media but most of it was about the battle.

Another successful weekend at Ludkins.Fantastic terrain, the usual plethora of great miniatures and a really challenging and unusual scenario.
As has been previously mentioned it was a rather good social weekend as well, plenty of banter and good natured piss taking, all taken in the spirit it was meant.
Still coming to terms with the performance of Bill's Italian brigade, hardly a casualty in a full weekends gaming, although the Bermuda Triangle tile had a lot to do with that.
So thanks to all who contributed to a superb weekend and bring on the next one.
