Hi all
I was in the Foundry last week and noticed a recent addition within their display cabinets.
They had about two dozen painted examples of their new Marlburian range including many very nice Gardes Francais, British Horse including command and some general purpose wounded figures.
I understand they will be releasing the range later this year and they say there may be some 40 packs.
The figures appeared to be slightly taller than their existing Perry designed Marlburian range, however they are not as tall as Front Rank, thank goodness, so I for one will not be having to up size my units to accommodate.
The detail is excellent with wonderful facial features and there is considerable 'movement' in the figures I saw. I understand that the designer is one of their existing fantasy sculptors. Sorry I was unable to take any pics to show you.
Can't wait to get my Spanish army finished. Ten units completed in the last seven weeks and just twenty more to go.
I now need to think what I will be using these for. Savoyard? More French? But what a state to be in.
Regards
Tim
