I was browsing the Copplestone website today and I noticed that the Glory of the Sun range has been sold to North Star. Which is probably a good thing as Mark C. had more or less dropped it at mid-course, either because he had lost interest (as he sometimes does) or because the figures weren't selling well enough to justify adding to the range (dunno about that though, as they seem very popular among C17th enthusiasts).
Nick Eyre seems intent on completing the gaps in the range. The North Star blurb states that the first 26 packs were sculpted by Mark Copplestone, which implies that someone else will carry on with the putty pushing. Below is a pic of the officer from the new non-Mark C. cavalry command set and it looks good enough to fit with the rest of the Copplestone sculpts :
The range is no longer known as the 'Glory of Sun' and is now marketed as North Star's 1672. The good news is that the prices have dropped by 10 to 30 per cent, depending on which packs you're buying. The command figs are noticeably cheaper now.

One morning I shot an elephant in my pajamas. How he got into my pajamas I'll never know.
