So far I have painted:

1 French Foot unit - currently flagged as Piemont but I will change the command stand and use it for Ireland (maybe even as Huguenots if I drop the pikes)

Hello,
Piedmonteses and Scots together? Strong!
Yes, since I am a piedmontese, I would say that they are doing well there.
The name "Piedmont" comes from "at the foot ("pie") of the mountains ("mont")" and the name of our city, Torino (Turin - Augusta Taurinorum) derives its name from the celtic-ligurian tribe of the Taurini, whose name derives from the Celtic "taur" that meant "mountain", then by Romans confused with "bull" for the Latin "taurus".
Originally, therefore, the Taurini, ancestral forefathers of the Piedmonteses, were the "men of the mountains", that is to say .... the "Highlanders"!
Sorry for this digression, which I hope you liked it anyway and it has amused you.
Even I and my son Sandro (the infamous Naran Team Turin) are preparing a Jacobite army, to oppose the English, for which at the moment I'll use those of the Spanish Succession War, which I'm finishing to paint.
As soon as possible, I will post some pictures in the forum.
Cheers,
Sergio
