OK, so after two years I've finally given in to having a section of the FORUM specifically set up to discuss painting techniques, display examples, show your latest projects and chat about this vital part of the hobby. Manufacturers please feel free to post up your sculpts, ask questions about what the gamers are after and generally promote your work.. no charge! Painters, please also feel free to post up your work for comment and critique. I can't promise the unreserved adulation characteristic of some other fora but I would hope you'd get constructive and measured comment!

So I've finally, after a loooong time, started painting for my BLB GNW project. Couple of guns done already that I've posted earlier. Next up is the Swedish Livdragonregementet. Just oil washed the horses today so I'll spend the rest of the week working on the riders.

Looking very nice! How do you "oil wash" the horses?

Yes indeed. Swedes and Russians in March attack got molded this week. Grenadiers and Russian Guard next up in a couple of weeks. Then some dismounted dragoons for both sides.

Nice paintjob! And good miniatures too, I find musketeer miniatures late romans the best out there!
Cheers

First 9 figures done. Ironically I've run out of figures to finish the unit of 2 Sqn's, so I'll have to wait till I can get some casting from the UK.
