The raising of the Saxon Army 1810-1813

OK, so after two years I've finally given in to having a section of the FORUM specifically set up to discuss painting techniques, display examples, show your latest projects and chat about this vital part of the hobby. Manufacturers please feel free to post up your sculpts, ask questions about what the gamers are after and generally promote your work.. no charge! Painters, please also feel free to post up your work for comment and critique. I can't promise the unreserved adulation characteristic of some other fora but I would hope you'd get constructive and measured comment!

Ah, I thought it was the autocorrect messing up his complimenting Günter's fresh breath...

Dear Friends,

Slight correction of the above...I wont take a single figure with me.
They don't fought at Waterloo. That was a pure French Affair.

Good News is that I got Word from the Warlords that I am on the Invitation List for Salute 2016!

Until then Steve has to do his last sculpting work for this Army by doing Officers, Generals and Staff Members of the Saxon Army.

Uniform details are like these:

Cheers,

Dear Friends,

As before the Royal Saxon Army has found time to position itself on the - newly obtained - Battlefield and also all of the smaller additions which wouldn't be possible without Adrians help. For both - THANK YOU!

So here are the pictures of the Saxon Army as it would have been at Salute 2016 (but  one of the organizers misplaced my invitation form and so...):
