Great looking games!

Thanks for sharing Ray!

Would have loved to see it for myself but unforunately....

Cheers,

Well Ray,

next year I hope to be there, yes, but as a Exibitor with my Saxon Army so I won't see too much of it

I enjoyed it to a point... Its actually too big. Too busy , and despite the size of the hall, a bit claustrophobic. Don't get me started on the backpack brigade and this year there were two guys with rolling rucksacks who should have to have them surgically removed from where they were told to stick them. There is also so much very pricey fantasy stuff that if you took it away Salute would be only half the size. So much of it seems to be kickstarter based too. It's perhaps my cynical nature but how long is it til there is a major ripoff here.
I couldn't believe as well that there was a queue inside to buy miniatures from games workshop/forgeworld. I will go back, but in a few years. In the meantime I prefer our smaller shows.

Me and the Boss enjoyed the day; had a chat with Barry and bought a few bits and pieces. Lots of great games, and being able to see new project figures in the flesh is still a major plus - that's you Gringo40 and Empress....

It's not a wargames show really. It is a fusion - mainly trade, increasingly sci fi, highly commercial from every dimension. I would call it slick and soul-less.
