Charles XII is dead in my book about Norway and the great northern war.
The description is detailed.

The bullet entered the temple. One of his eyes got dragged into his skull. The other one popped out before the bullet exited out of the skull. The sound was that of a - thud.

Yikes! Yet, I am amused by the on again, off again raging debate on the EXACT cause of his demise. It really matters not whether it was a canister ball or musket ball and which side delivered it, the end result was a large - in the head and a dead king.
