Danish Generals

Does anybody out there have any idea as to the appearance of Danish General officers of the period? Was there a General officers' uniform or did they wear a glorified version of their regimental uniform?

They, as you said, probably wore more elaborate versions of the regiment to which they belonged uniform. As far as I know officers almost always had tp pay themselves for their uniforms so these were generally of better quality with better materials and more ornate than the common soldiers.
