This is the first time I have ever posted on a forum, But what happened at Partizan last Sunday spoilt what should have been a great day. I have run demo games for years untold. On sunday we had put on a Alma game, all went well until packing away when i found that some one had had it away with a Russian field gun and crew.
Be warned folks to keep a eye on your metal..I hope that this is a isolated case and not the start of something

Arthur,
That is bad news indeed. It will at least teach the rest of us to be a little more careful.

Before going to gaming conventions I am careful to put an address label under the base of every stand of figures or terrain that I take.

We had someone walk away with one of three first edition BLB books at Historicon while we were at the table. One minute there were three, then there were two...
Hmmm.... Barry, seems like you asked me about a missing howitzer... did that ever turn up or did we loose that too?

Bad news all round.
Nope Clarence, the howitzer has not shown up after all my unpacking. Very strange because I am very careful and usually my OCD means I check and check.
I liked that gun too! It was a Trent Miniatures piece.

Its the one thing i fear at a show, after you have work hours to paint your models up for other people to enjoy.
I have been put off taken some book to the show with the display, because of how much they cost.
David
what of the long list to paint next ?
