The 4th Cuirassiers were part of the 1st Brigade of the 13th Cavalry Division vcommanded by General de Brigade Baron Dubois. At Waterloo they were 314 men strong or 16 models. This 18 model unit is therefore a little on the large side but with 3 squadrons of equal size it does have a nice symmetry. The 4th were brigaded with the 1st and in total fielded 779 men in the brigade  equating to 39 models.
