This is the 1st battalion of the 2nd Nassau Regiment sometimes called Nassau Usingen. It had 889 men at Waterloo making it one of the larger battalions in the battle. This 48 model unit is slightly stronger than it should be but looks very fine. This battalion served in the 2nd Brigade of the 2nd Netherlands Division under Bernard of Saxe Weimar. It was painted by Chris Meacham.
