On Sunday I told Barry that we were going to play a game using the scenario in December's issue of miniature wargames. I changed the scenario to North America and did a few alterations in case any of the guys had read it
We used Donnybrook.i have to say that the guys really enjoyed it!!
It was hilarious. Donnybrook fitted the bill perfectly with 4 different forces on the table. It was fast, unpredictable and very much fun.
Especially good if your guys play in character
Man of the match, a British rifle sergeant who was wounded 3 times, had 2 flesh wounds , was knocked unconscious but was the only survivor
Best character was big Jock , the moose Mctaggart leader of a mixed Scottish and Huron Warband. Impervious to damage or so it seemed
He was revealed as a fraud and a big Jessie when his followers found out he was actually wearing body armour under his jacket.
Superb, highly enjoyable game using 7 players!!
